An Amber Alert for a 2-week-old girl forcibly taken by her father from her Detroit home, has been canceled, according to Detroit police.
The infant was found safe after being taken from a home in the 3300 block of Garfield by her father, Cordney Osterman, 23, at approximately 1:35 a.m. Saturday, according to Detroit police.
The child was recovered at the residence of Osterman‘s mother, according to Detroit Police Chief James Craig.
“Apparently a family member received a call to meet him and the child was turned over,” Craig said.
Police are still searching for Osterman.
He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, black sweatpants and burgundy shoes. He has a medium build with black hair, black eyes, a beard and mustache.
